Beyond Tomorrow: Presented by Australian Payments Plus

We're still buzzing after the 'Beyond Tomorrow' summit presented in Sydney a fortnight ago by our friends at Australian Payments Plus. From the engaging panels to the awe-inspiring presentation by Mark Mathews, it was an event to remember.

We were thrilled to be Platinum sponsor and raise nearly $1100 for Disaster Relief Australia with our live PayTo and PayID demos. See more about the day here.

Zepto Connect Webinar Replay

Our recent virtual fireside chat provided valuable insights into the benefits of real-time payments for payroll & super. Our panel explored the impact that real-time payments can have on employee satisfaction, messaging, compliance and reporting considerations, integration with existing payroll processes, cash flow uplift and cost savings for businesses.

Does what’s working cut it anymore? We don't think so. Now is the time to get ahead of the curve and reimagine what’s possible with payroll. Watch the replay.

Insights from Zepto's Mariana Paun

Zepto's Head of Information Security & Technology, Mariana Paun joined a stellar cast at Marvel Stadium for the Cyber Resilience Summit VIC in early March 2024. Here are Mariana's key takeaways from the event.

Zepto Connect Webinar Replay

Our first Zepto Connect webinar of the year was a cracker. Our panel of big hitters covered a lot of territory on what 2024 has in store for Australian payments. Catch the replay over on our YouTube channel!

Public Policy Work

We put huge effort into influencing the future of payments regulation by making submissions to Treasury’s consultations. As pioneers of payments innovation in Australia, Zepto is well positioned to provide insights to Treasury.

So, it was super satisfying to see in early December that Treasury had accepted a number of our recommendations.

Likewise, following a submission on Treasury's Consumer Data Right draft legislation to enable Action Initiation, we joined a Senate Economics Legislation Committee’s inquiry into Treasury Laws Amendment.

Our First All-Company Summit

In July, for the first time ever, all of Zepto gathered IRL, as they say, in Cairns for our inaugural North by North East [NXNE] summit. And frankly, it was incredible.

Over 3-days we connected, workshopped, shared learnings, aligned our goals, and had a tonne of fun as you can see here.

An Inaugural Hackathon

A key take-out from NXNE, was the importance of embedding a culture of innovation and collaboration at Zepto. So, in early December we held our first Zeptopalooza

Seven remotely-distributed, cross-functional teams each took on a unique creative challenge over two days. Every idea, the way they were presented, the passion and the intensity brought to it was just mind-blowing.

Unpacked: Payments Insights from Around the Globe

This Zepto Connect webinar saw a seriously credentialled panel share their views on global payment trends and developments. View the replay.

Product Update

We're pleased to announce the release of our PayID Addressing Service integration for PayTo. It enables our merchant customers to validate the bank account name associated with a registered PayID — an important part of fraud control, and — using a PayID — to create both:

  • A PayTo Agreement
  • PayTo Payment initiations

WIPAUS2023 Symposium

Women in Payments annual symposium took place in Melbourne last week, delivering two days of high quality content and invaluable interactions.

As a remote-first business, events like this are vital to Zepto. Not just as a way to engage our industry, prospects and customers, but also to catch-up IRL with colleagues who we typically only see on laptop screens.

Zepto's WIPAUS2023 squad represented with aplomb. Read all about it HERE.

ICYMI: Webinar Replay

Earlier this month we hosted another lively Zepto Connect virtual fireside chat about PayTo. If you were blissfully unaware or simply missed it, fear not! You can watch the replay here.

Little wonder Chris was unable to attend the Northern Rivers Regional Leaders Business Forum or collect his Business NSW Northern Rivers Outstanding Business Leader award for 2023 in person.
